Learning to knit - Project 1

#Booties

Big thanks to Gina Michele to guiding me through my first project 'Baby Booties' - no big announcement I'm afraid just googled easy knitting projects and this was first on the list!

It was relatively easy - 'the finishing off' and 'the piecing them together' was a little tricky and the end product looked a little ropey but think it is a just a definite case of practice makes perfect!

For some reason mine seemed pretty tiny - perhaps more for the neo-natal babies - not that I would wish that on anybody. Anyway in hope that someone might get their foot in with minimal tears I left a little space up the back and placed a little button on the back for decoration.
